FIND YOUR FIT

Which session feels like you?

Reformer

Adjustable spring resistance, support, and variety. For those who enjoy equipment and a challenge shaped around their strength, mobility, and experience.

Supported. Challenged. Connected.

Heated mat

Intentional movement, music, and warmth. For those who enjoy a flowing, athletic session with bodyweight and props, and feel comfortable exercising in heat.

Warmth. Energy. Flow.

Mat at home

Focused movement in your own space, without added heat. For those who value convenience, privacy, and a practice they can carry into everyday life.

Strength. Control. Your own rhythm.

Your starting point matters.

These are starting points, not fixed categories. Your goals, comfort, and movement history guide the choice.

New to Pilates or starting again

Reformer or unheated mat can offer a focused introduction, clear cueing, and a pace that builds confidence. Already enjoy exercising in warmth? Heated mat may suit you, too.

Active adults 65+

Start by exploring reformer or unheated mat for a session centered on everyday strength, balance, and mobility. Your comfort with equipment and getting down to the floor matters more than age alone.

Runners, hikers & other athletes

Reformer offers adjustable resistance and variety; mat develops control using bodyweight and props. Either can complement your existing routine with attention to stability and mobility.

Desk workers & busy schedules

Explore reformer or mat for movement focused on body awareness and mobility. At-home sessions make consistency easier when travel, work, or family life fills the calendar.

Pregnancy & postpartum

Reach out before booking to discuss your stage, care team’s guidance, and whether your needs fit my current instruction. During pregnancy, choose an unheated setting; heated Pilates is not recommended. Postpartum return is individual and should follow your clinician’s guidance.

Returning after injury

Once your clinician or physical therapist has cleared you for exercise, reach out with any movement restrictions. We’ll discuss whether an adapted reformer or unheated mat session is appropriate. Sessions focus on fitness; rehabilitation needs belong with your treating clinician.

Movement with precision, warmth, and a point of view.

Mary in the studio

I’m a Marin County–based movement instructor with a background in ballet and experience teaching Pilates and barre. I currently teach at BodyRok in Mill Valley and Muse Body Collective, where I lead heated mat Pilates. My private sessions bring that range together: Pilates fundamentals, athletic challenge, careful cueing, and programming shaped around you.

Whether we’re working on a reformer, moving in a heated studio, or meeting at home, my goal is for you to leave feeling stronger, more connected, and confident in what your body can do.
